The user and password are identical and still I get this infamous message ... Any idea?

I really wonder why this is such a big task ... but a see that all the other smart developers out there cant solve the problem either ...

Anyway, I think you should change your slogan somewhat Ovidiu 🙂

I am guessing you are referring to the XCloner admin login area, if so, please check your php.ini session.save_path option , make sure it points to a valdi writeable path, otherwise php sessions won't work, and neither the login...

I am referring to the fact that FileZilla can login to the ftp account and XCloner says it cant.

I started the Clone process and got his message:

FTP connection has failed!Attempted to connect to ftp://xyz  for user xyz

Is it possible the message is false? I.e. that the connection was interrupted by the server after login?

The TAR file is 1.1 GB.

Thanks!

Ok, you were right, the path was wrong, but now I get this message:

Warning: ftp_nb_put() [function.ftp-nb-put]: Can't open that file: No such file or directory in /home/xyz/public_html/wp-content/plugins/xcloner-backup-and-restore/cloner.functions.php on line 756

TAR and Xcloner are in /restore.

Thanks!

You should recheck your ftp upload path, it doesn't seem to be correct!
