Hey,

First off - awesome plugin and super handy.   I have used it
in the past and it has always worked... until now.?

I have not encountered this before.    I am attempting
to move a site, doing a restore on a new server but I am getting nowhere.

Doesn’t seem to matter what approach I take, when I view the site
I get the text message - "We are completing some maintenance and will be
back shortly."

if I go to http://www.mydomain......m/wp-admin it gives me an error -
"HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was
encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request."

Now - one or two times I got it working (the home page would
show), but when I navigated to any other page, including wp-admin, it error-ed
again (the 500 error), and once that happens, it seems to switch back to the
"maintenance" text on the homepage as well.   Like it is super
brittle or something.   I am lost!?

Ive done both automatic and manual restores (manual where I
extracted files through the cPanel file manager, I have not uploaded each
individual file as the entire site is over a gig)

I have restored everything, I have manually installed files and
then imported the db,

I have checked the wp-config file and ensure everything is set
properly there

I disabled all plugins and created a new backup and tried
restoring with it

...nothing seems to work.

In testing, I took a backup of another site and tried restoring it
- worked perfectly.  Why this site won’t work I have no idea.  It is
working fine in its current location.  Could it be that I am overriding
the hosts file, and that is somehow causing me problems??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Update – I have it working now - turns out 'someone' added an index.htlm file to prep for the downtime.  I looked right
past it multiple times and lost many hair follicles as a result.   Joy.
