Hi,
Did the restore on a local machine.
Seemed to go OK, files back, categories and posts back, I think.
However, I am unable to login to my 'restored site' or, indeed, see anything except the front page of the site.
Pretty hopeless. I am missing something here?

In fact, I'm wrong - my files have not been uploaded at all.
The backup and restore process clrearly does not work.
Any backup solution has to be reliable - this doesn't appear to be.
Very disappointed.

There might be several reasons of why the restore process might not work, one of them being that the restore backup archive is incomplete or corrupt, i would advise using a ftp client to download it from the original site and to try and open it.
Another reason might be the disk space from the original host, to make sure a backup gets completed succesfully, you need to recheck that as well.
You can also extract the backup archive manually, and then restart the restore process with "Skip files restore" option checked.

Hi,
Extracted the backup file - it is missing all uploaded files, images etc. It just doesn't work. I can't rely on a plugin that performs like this, unfortunately.

As i said, if it does not work, there is probably a good reason somewhere.
While we do our best to try and support all issues that appear, without the users input we can't really provide any helpfull information.
We offer as well Premium Support, and I would be happy to check and fix the issue if it's the case.
