WordPress site on the same server. I got through everything okay until
the part where it says: "New Mysql Configuration" and "File Restore
Options".
when I input my FTP information (or just leave them both empty) and
click "install", I get the following error message:
"The database details provided are incorrect and/or empty. Unable to connect to mysql server"
In my /public_html/website.com folder (viewing from my FTP), I see these 4 files:
1) backup_2012-10-02_07-00_website.com-sql-nodrop.tar
2) XCloner.php
3) TAR.php
4) error_log
What
could be wrong? Are those files in the wrong place? How should I go
about completing the cloning process?
Thank you.

Hello Ovidiu,
In CPanel, I used the "MySQL Database Wizard" to create a new database, then went back and completed the questions in Step 2 for restoring. I see the same error message. Can you please help me to successfully copy over my existing WP site to the new one? I do not know how to do this. I am following the directions. Please be specific step by step as to what the solution is. I've been struggling with this for now 8 days. Please help me. Thank you.
Could you post here a screenshot after your restore screen? Usually in cpanel, the mysql user and database name get prefixed with the cpanel username, so the database name won't be for instance joomla, but cpaneluser_joomla...
If you like, feel free to open a support ticket and we can recheck the mysql restore details! Regards, Ovidiu

Hello Ovidiu,
How do I open a support ticket? I'm logged in but when I click "support", it says for Premium members, so it doesn't let me send you a message. I also looked at "Contact me here!" but it doesn't allow me to attach a screenshot so that you can see what I'm talking about. I wish there was an easier way I can show you.
You should already have my email address in your system because I had to get an account before I could post on the forum. Perhaps you can email me and I can attach the screenshot you want. But I'm not exactly sure which screenshot you want. Is it the one that shows my error message? Or is it the one after I click "go back" from the error message and it takes me to the screen where I input the MySQL information?
If I can share my screen with you, you'll be able to see exactly what is happening. I wish there was a better way for us to communicate so that we can resolve this problem.
It seems like you're in Europe and I'm on Pacific Standard Time, so it's after 1:00am here now. I will check back here in the morning to see if we can fix this issue. Thank you very much for your help.
Hi Nadine, have you tried subscribing to the premium support system https://www.xcloner......-services/ ? you will be able to open a support ticket afterwards.
We can only help you as much through the free forums! Regards, Ovidiu
