Hi,

I installed xclone backup manager in joomla 3.1. Installation went fine. But when I try to create the backup I get the following error

"Backup failed, please check your tar server utility support!".

Even i checked some temp files gets created in backup directory so I am sure, xclone has write access to that directory.

Also I have not enabled tar option. I am working on windows 7, so dont have the tar utility support also.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Bharat

Hi Bharat, could you post a screenshot of your XCloner Config General tab and System tab, as well as from the error screen, what changes did you make from the default config options?

Could you try and re-attach them?

I tried both using image option and copy paste, but some how the attachments are not getting uploaded. I get a successful message but the images are not getting displayed in the post.

Can you please let me know your email id? I will mail you the attachments.

Please check that your Backup Store Path is fully writeable by all users...

Try switching that Backup Backup Mode to Normal in your XCloner Config->System tab and see if you get any improvements.

Can you check if inside the administrator/backups folder any file is created?
