Hi Ovidiu,

 

there is a lot of space available, so I copied over the files manually and retried the installation – it does look it completed but there were some failures.  Do you think this is something to worry about?

Do you mean delete the .sql file in clone/administrator/backup ? and then try again.

 

Currently when i log on to xxxxxxxxx.co.uk/sw/clone i can see my website but the theme is wrong and no pictures are showing, i know the backup is correct.

No, i am referring to the existing tables in your restore database, delete those then try the import process again...
