Morning,
I was wondering if you can figure this out. I am experimenting transferring a website from one host to another. The only thing is they are different domain names. Same website! but different domain names.
Xcloner was brilliant in transferring everthing and I can access the website in the back end with no problems and I can view the front page fine, but when I try to navigate to other pages around the website, I get an 500 Internal Server Error.
Would you have any ideas?
the domain is http://www.networkbu.....ited.co.uk. its just a domain name I never use so was experimenting transferring the whole joomla website from celtic-icats.co.uk.
I am wondering if the domain name was the same (diverting the domain name to the hosting) would everythign be fine.
I have tried to remove any reference from the icats website such as in the global configuration
But wanted to know your thoughts.
Chris 🙂

Hi folks,
I have kind a sililar experience, since I upgraded to Joomla 2.5.18. At the same time I've installed the Admin Tools 2.6.0 and activated the password protection, with .htaccess. This would indicate somehow a problem with the .htaccess configuration.
When starting the Xcloner (v 3.4 from May 2013) it takes a while before seeing the Internal Server Error.
I read the previouse thread: http://www.xcloner.c.....ll-1-5-26/
Here, the admin suggests, to check for the administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore folder and to upload a .htaccess file, to liberate security rules in this directory.
I just used the expression:
RewriteEngine off
However the Internal Server Error persists!!!
I would be very happy for any suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
