The free forums are no longer in use. It remains available as read-only archive.
Regarding the ftp error, you only need to specify the ftp server name, and not also http:// or ftp:// , try better only the ip address or localhost.
As for the second error message, try cleaning out your restore location(empty directory) and redo the restore again. Also make sure you have enough disk space to make a full restore, at least twice the backup archive size.

Now I tried the last option, I did manually restore via ftp and used XCloner only to populate database.
I get the following error:
##Mysql Query:

And my SQL database appears to be empty (I tried to delete it and rename it, but still get the same error).
I tried to import the database manually and I get:

I'll try! Thanks
I have imported the database successfully, but now I find the same old JFolder::files: Path is not a folder: error:
I found on the net the following answer to the Path is not a folder error:
regarding:
var $log_path = '/usr/home/web/joomla/logs';
var $tmp_path = '/usr/home/web/joomla/tmp';
I actually looked in the joomla (old) global config and both were connected to paths specific to my previous server.
Now I changed them and redone XCloner backup, tomorrow I'll try restoring to the new server again. Hope it works,
Isabella
OK,i have been looking further into this, first make sure you properly update your logs and tmp folders path from your new site configuration.php. If you still have issues, try re-uploading the latest version of the Joomla package and see if it helps
Not sure if the path it's looking for is sent to debug, but try also and setingt your new site in debug mode.
