Hi Ovidiu,

we realized, that your provider changed the php-Version to 5.3.6. Since that change we often had white screens. Now we use 5.2 and everything goes fine - but not XCloner. Now we have an strange error - see screenshot:

We haven't changed the user rights yet. But can it be that XCloner has a problem with php 5.2?

Try and exclude the .dir file from your backup and see if you have anymore issues! Ovidiu

The Backup-Size is only 2kb. It only saves the directory "administrator" and "backup" and the file index.html in backup.

That's all. I don't unterstand that....

If you like, feel free to open a support ticket and i can look more into the issue, i am not sure either what the problem is, have you tried the default XCloner settings(usually by reinstalling it...)?

I'm also having this same problem. Except the size of my files are always 67Megs. It's not bringing in for example all of my modules inside the modules folder of the Joomla site. But ALL of the modules are owned by my username. So I'm not sure why it would include some and not all.

My host HostGator, just told me there is a post_max_size = 64M and they will not change it.

So i'm not sure why this is happening. Does XCloner make the file locally via ftp? Or just via php? Seems weird that post_max_size would put a limit on something that is not a POST per say but I'm no php expert by any means.

I think you are running into a file size limitation from your host which is in your case 67M, i suggest checking this with them and see if they can increase that, otherwise, you will need to use the Backup Spit option  from XCloner Config to create backups under that size limit...
