Hi Olvidu ! - MuchThanks for the reply ! No screen shot to show really though . . .
It just seems to not work . . . The backup part seems to work fine, and the backup files show up.
But when I hit the "Clone" Button there is just a blank screen in WordPress and it times out.
When I look in the "New Site" folder area the XCloner.php, Tar.php, and Backup.zip files are there.
But if I attempt to manually Open the newly created XCloner.php file in a browser it just hangs . . .
Nothing happens . . .
Seems as though there is an issue porting the backup, & Xcloner.php files over to the new site area, thus the timeout in wordpress.
I just can't figure out why . . . Maybe WP 3.1.1 has issue w XCloner ? Have you confirmed it works in 3.1.1 ?
Hmmm . . maybe something else ? Bummer, I love XCLoner, and have used it recently on this exact server, so it HAS worked for me, recently just not now.
John, if the Clone button functionality fails for whatever reason, you can always use this Restore alternative tutorial. With that in place, if you still have issues opening the XCloner.php script in your browser, i am afraid it's something you need you contact your hosting support with, at the first step XCloner doesn't do anything else beside showing some html code to the browser.

Hi, Olvidiu - Much Thanks for your help ! But yes, something is wrong . . . I blew up several sites, trying to clone them, not sure whats happening or going wrong. If I purchase some Premium Support, could you take a look at my server, and whole setup to see why Xcloner hasn't worked for me ?
Also Can you restore a site if I have a XCloner backup file like this :
backup_2011-04-25_02-55_clone-003.XXXXX.net-sql-nodrop.tar
Or do we need the XCloner.php, and Tar.php as well ?
Let me know how you'd like to proceed . . . Thanks ~!
The premium support includes the above inquired services as we also specify on the description page, to help you restore the backup we only need access to the backup archive, the restore script is the same from the core package! So go ahead and get the Premium Support without concerns when ready, we will look over the issues you have there and try to help!
