How to makes different wp-admin?

I installed the plugin on sitea.com, I use the backup.tar to the siteb.com

I perfectly restored the back up, except the database mysql he just ignored it, I don't know how to configure the mysql.

And then I try login wp-admin on siteb.com through siteb.com/wp-admin, and It redirects me to the  sitea.com/wp-admin.

How to makes siteb.com have its own wp-admin ?

Hi there, can yo be more specific on what the issue was when importing the mysql database? Can you post here the full error message or a screenshot?

The issue you have currently is normal since the database was not imported and your new site is connected to the original database!

well ok then as the title said, could you give me some instructions How to makes different wp-admin?

when I accessed siteb.com/wp-admin, it automatically redirects and use sitea.com/wp-admin. Which means since the copied database is from the sitea.com so siteb.com uses all the data from sitea.com even the wp-admin.

So how's to differ it ? Make a self wp-admin on siteb.com

As i explained above, the issue is related to the fact that the restore did not go properly, anyway, if you prefer to restore the database some other way, try and login to your new site backend from the http://..../wp-login.php address, then go to the Settings General tab and adjust the frontend url there.

Hope it helps! Ovidiu

Hi Lenny, I'v already explained above why that happens, you need to properly complete the restore or follow my other move advice and adjust the database properties. Anyway, at this point, i am not really sure what you are trying to do, restore the database using XCloner or some other way?

Since i do provide support for XCloner, i would suggest to simply retry the XCloner restore process, and post here screenshots after your restore screen as well as any error message you might encounter to see how we can help you.

Regards, Ovidiu

ok here what I do, I create the mysql database through cpanel with this guide : http://www.optiniche.....-tutorial/

so I access the xcloner.php file in the new domain. Fill the necessary box, input my database username and password and the database name. And then specify copying through ftp accessed. And then I click install, first it all successfully installing and then theres a link to command me click it to do database import. And then it gives me this error, how I should fix it ?

Was the incremental sql import option checked on the restore screen? That error indicates a memory limit from your hosting server, so to fix it, you would need to increase the site php.ini memory_limit to a larger value like 128M

Greetings,

I've just done a restore from site a to site b and get exactly the same problem listed here;

And then I try login wp-admin on siteb.com through siteb.com/wp-admin, and It redirects me to the  sitea.com/wp-admin.

I can't see from this post what the solution was and i've tried several config combinations on the restore screen.

Can you please advise any solution or exactly what config options i should be choosing?

I simply wish to do a 100% copy/clone of site a onto site b and then login to siteb.com/wp-admin and work on the dashboard for site b that now has the contents of site a.

Thank you

Usually XCloner does the url update for you, however to quickly fix it, access your site first from this url siteb.com/wp-login.php, then go in the Wordpress Settings area and update the frontend url

Hope it helps! Ovidiu
