Hi,
I have just installed your x-Cloner Backup and Restore component on my Joomla 2.5. The installation has been succesfuly completed, but when I go to the administration panel oaf the component, there nothing but the white page. I can see and have acces to the menu bar of Joomla, but no access to the admin panel of the x-cloner.
Could anybody help?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for reply.
My host said that I could myself see the errors code in the folder of the component.
Well, I went there and... the folder is totaly empty, there is nothing in the folder ../myJoomla/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore.
So, I think, the installation has not went well enugh.
Is there any other way to do the installation? Or you have another solution to this problem?
Thanks in advance.

I have exactly the same problem on Joomla 3.2, a clean installation. This is the first extension I installed. I get the message "Installation Successful". I go to the "Components" menu, and there I see "xcloner-backup-and-restore". I click on this and I see a completely blank page, with only the Joomla menus visible. I uninstalled the component, re-downloaded, re-installed and it's exactly the same.
I found this in the error log in administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore :-
[11-Dec-2013 17:51:25 Europe/Berlin] PHP Warning: require_once(restore/TAR.php) [<a href='function.require-once'>function.require-once</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/kxupclya/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/admin.cloner.php on line 34
[11-Dec-2013 17:51:25 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'restore/TAR.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/kxupclya/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/admin.cloner.php on line 34
Line 34 of this file reads
require_once("restore/TAR.php");
In the folder "restore" there is only 1 file called "XCloner.php".
Is there a missing file?

Hi Marek
The exact name of the file is
administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/error_log
When I look at the file via cPanel File Manager no file-extension is shown, but the file-type is shown as "text/x-generic".
When I download the file, it offers to save the file (on my Windows PC) with a .vbs extension.

Thanks, Michael, I've found it.
It seems to say the same:
[11-Dec-2013 15:50:00 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: require_once() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'restore/TAR.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/vydrastl/public_html/administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/admin.cloner.php on line 34
What is the Berlin doing here? 🙂
As for now, I'm waiting for the reply from Ovidiu. May be he would have some clarification about it. See yea!
Marek
P.S. Wait, Wait!!! I have just deleted the 34 line in that file (administrator/components/com_xcloner-backupandrestore/admin.cloner.php) and now the panel does appear, wow!
But I must see, tomorrow, what is happenning with the extension. Let us be in touch.
