hi,

I recently installed Xcloner in standalone version and tried to backup.

Everything went fine, i configure in order to not compress backup files.

The backup process works fine and here is the rsults:

Initializing backup...

Backup /homez.91/xxxx/www/backup_2012-05-31_13-37_www.xxxxxxxxx.com-nosql.tar created, we may continue!

Filesystem backup...

Scanning files system... done! (Estimated size:108.15MB) in 9391 files
Processing Files: 100% (9391 files)

Backup Name: backup_2012-05-31_13-37_www.xxxxxxxxxxx.com-nosql.tar

Backup Size: 0.00MB

The tar file contains only and its size is 1573 bytes:
administrator/
--- backups/
--- --- index.html
Any idea? any log i could check to solve this problem?
Thanks a lot
Have a good day.

You should check the disk space available as well as leave the Server utilties options unchecked in the XCloner Config...

I checked both Disk space and Server utilities.

All works fine, but at the end, the tar backup file is still 1.5Kb...

"I checked both Disk space and Server utilities." - try and leave them unchecked as defaults...

That's what i did!!

No tar, no sql dump. I only want to backup files, and it generates an empty tar backup file.

The process displays a correct estimated size, it shows all the good files to backup, but at the end, nothing.

It only add the administrator/backups folder and an index.html file.

So it sizes less than 2KB.

Another idea?

There is no directory restrictions or else.

The website uses Prestashop estore system.

I am afraid i am out of ideas, could you post here a screenshot from your XCloner main Config screen?

If you like, feel free to open a support ticket and send me the access details to the site so i can check the issue.

Still no idea?

It's really strange because it parses all my 9613 files, but it adds only one folder in the backup file...

Nobody had this problem?

There are several posts related to the same issue, but most of them were caused by users checking the Server utilities Active checkboxes, i would be able to help more if you can open a support ticket with us and send me the site access details.

I looked at each similar posts, they was all not working because of disk space, or permissions.

I already checked that, and i tried in "Normal Backup Mode".

Still the same.

Is there a place where i could check error logs, or else, because i can't give access to this website.

Thanks
