Hi,

I was having this problem too, and seems to have solved it by reducing the "Files to process per request" to 30 and increasing the "Time between requests" to 2000. I still get the message every now and then with the main difference being that clicking the retry now works and the backup continues.

However, I am having another problem with the backups where a a tar file is being generated with size 1536 bytes containing only the index.html file within it. While the backup is being generated, one finds more files in the administrator/backups folder, only to be removed when the tar file is created. Moreover, at no time did the files of the website ever backed up (at least I did not find any refences to them other than in the perm.txt and in the xcloner.log

Regards

Stanley

PS I'm sorry about this, but I intented to send this post to the WordPress support and not the Joomla

The "SHOW VIEW" mysql query is not allowed for the assigned mysql user, you need to either adjust the mysql user so it has that permission on the database you want to backup, or check with your hosting support.

Hello! I was unsure that my previous post actually went through (due to the size of my screen shots). I reduced the number of files to process down to 20 (yet it came back as 30). I'm running on KitKat 2GB memory+32GB storage. The backups aren't going through. Please advise 🙂

You should try and disable the deprecated messages error display, otherwise set the  Backup Mode to Normal in XCloner Config
